２０２３年４月３０日の日曜日。両親と一緒にお台場のビッグトップにて『ダイハツ アレグリアー新たなる光ー』を鑑賞した。私は「エンタメ・ギフト」と名付けて、児童福祉施設への招待寄付の活動をしている。その演目のひとつが「アレグリア」である。
その演目に高齢の両親が歩けるうちに、と思って、一緒にお台場へ観に行った。私はA席を選んでいたので、円形舞台の下手側からの眺めである。
私のまわりの客席には子供たちがたくさんいた。ショーがはじまると、子どもたちは歓声をあげ、ショーの世界に引き込まれ、楽しんでいた。
その様子を観れたことで私は晴れ晴れしていた。招待寄付の子供たちもおなじように楽しめたのだろう。これから観にいく子どもたちにも胸を張って、楽しんでもらえる。
さまざまな出身の人がステージに登場する。ダイバーシティのカンパニー「シルク・ド・ソレイユ」太陽の劇団。
人間離れした技を披露していくカンパニーの出演パフォーマーたち。命綱なしで、パフォーマンスをしていく。演目のクライマックスはやはり空中ブランコ。
安全ネットが敷かれている。誰一人として、落ちないでパフォーマンスをする。
「ネットがあるから安全だね」
客席で誰かが言った。私は泣きそうになる。
「ネットがあるから安全だね」
本当のことを言うと、パフォーマーは、ネットの中に落ちる技術を体得しているし、ネットの使い方を体得している。だから素人がやったら、ネットが跳ねて、大けがをしてしまう。ちゃんと受け身やどこから落ちるか、空中で姿勢を整えている。
現在の社会にも「セーフティネット」は用意されている。しかし、ネットの中に落ちる技術や安全な落ち方を体得していない人がいる。ネットからこぼれてしまうと、大けがにつながり、打ちどころが悪いと命も落としてしまう。
高い所に登るときは、きちんと技術をつけて、落ちることを想定する。もちろん、「怖いから登らない」という選択もある。登る決断をしたならば、万が一の落ち方や安全確認をしていく必要は自分のためにも、悲劇をさけるために必要な技術になる。
カーテンコールで、すべての出演者とミュージシャン、お客様に拍手が贈られる。裏で表で支えているスタッフのみなさんにも、ココロから拍手を贈りたい。
Covid-19が現れたときは、絶望を知った。しかし必ず、また再開すると信じていたし、再開したときは観に行こうと思っていた。
またいつ観れなくなるか、わからない。社会情勢も、個人の健康もである。
今、このタイミングで素敵な舞台に出会う確率は本当に僅かだ。東京にいなかったら、こんな気軽に観にはいけない。
「エンターテインメントは生きるためには必要ではないが、生き続けるためには必要だ」と言った方がいる。知人に教えていただいた。私は思う。
「エンターテインメントは生きるために”も”必要だ」と。
人を殺す方法よりも、人を笑顔にする方法を考える社会のほうがよほど幸せになる。
私が伝えていることは、そんなシンプルなことにすぎない。
そう、「アレグリア」とはスペイン語で「喜び」や「楽しさ」という意味になる。この生きる喜びに満ちた「アレグリア」をもっともっと子どもたちに届けていきたい。
Sunday, April 30, 2023. I went to "Big Top" in Odaiba with my parents ”DAIHATSU Alegria New Light".
We are working to donate "entertainment tickets" to children in child welfare facilities. We named our donation activities "Entertainment Gifts." One of them is "Alegria".
I wanted to go with my parents, while they were fine. I chose "A seat", so it was a view from the bottom left towards the amphitheater. my parents is "S seat"
There were a lot of children in the audience around me. When the show started, the children cheered and were drawn into the world of the show and had fun.
I was fine and sunny to see that. The children who donated by invitation must have enjoyed it in the same way. The children who are going to see it will be proud and enjoy it.
People from different origins appear on stage. Diversity company "Cirque du Soleil" Taiyo Theater Company.The performers of the company show off their unhuman skills. We will perform without a lifeline. The climax of the performance is the trapeze.
A safety net is laid. No one performs without falling.
"It's safe because there's a net."
Someone said in the audience. I almost cry.
"It's safe because there's a net."
To tell you the truth, performers have mastered the art of falling into the net and have learned how to use the net. So if an amateur does it, the net will bounce and he will be seriously injured. Properly passively, where to fall, posture in the air.
Even in today's society, there is a "safety net." However, there are people who do not know the technology to fall into the net or how to fall safely. If it spills out of the net, it can lead to serious injury, and if it is not hit, it can kill you.
When climbing to a high place, assume that you will fall with proper skills. Of course, there is also the option of not climbing because it is scary. If you decide to climb, the need to check how to fall and check your safety is a necessary skill for yourself and to avoid tragedy.
At the curtain call, all performers, musicians and customers applauded. I would also like to give a round of applause to the staff who support me behind the scenes.
When Covid-19 appeared, I knew despair. But I always believed that it would reopen again, and when it did, I was going to go see it.
I don't know when I won't be able to watch it again. It is also about social conditions and personal health.
The probability of encountering a wonderful stage at this time is really small. If I wasn't in Tokyo, I wouldn't be able to see it so casually.
Someone said, "Entertainment is not necessary to live, but it is necessary to stay alive." An acquaintance told me.
But, I think.
"Entertainment is 'also necessary for living."
Than a society we thinks about how to kill,
much happier we think how to make people smile .
I've telling you.
"That is simple."
Yes, "Alegria" means "joy" or "fun" in Spanish.
I want to deliver this joyful "Alegria" to children even more.
